What story is God telling in your congregation?

Every congregation has a narrative. We arrange our memories, experiences, and central values into corresponding stories. Our shared stories form a narrative is arguably the most significant influence on our future together. Living God’s Story Through the Wilderness is a narrative discovery process for congregations moving through the present time of challenge toward a hopeful future.

In three cycles, a listening team from the congregation will gather, summarize, and share the stories that express the church’s God-given identity and purpose. The first cycle focuses on stories of the past. The second cycle addresses the stories of present experience. The third cycle explores the possibilities of how God is writing the future narrative of the congregation. You can find a sample timeline for the process here.
